This Type VAR1.6TBS is part of the most aggressively metal series of V’s ever created. With its distinctive, stealth looks and feature set, this guitar is a precise, professional instrument suitable for both stage and studio work. It features a locking Tonepros bridge for ease of use. It also features a pair of Seymour Duncan USA Distortion pickups (SH6N / TB6B), for maximum crunch and attack.
The Type VAR1.6TBS features a set-thru neck/body joint design with 25.5” scale, alder body, a fast, thin, comfortable maple neck, an ebony fingerboard with 24 super-jumbo stainless steel frets and Luminlay ‘glow in the dark’ side dots for stage use. Loaded with Solar 18:1 locking tuners, locking nut, 3-way toggle pickup switching and full access neck. Available in Borealis Blue Sky Metallic Gloss finish, it also includes a Solar Type VAR hardshell case.
